Subscription Information
Boba Talk offers the following auto-renewing subscription options:
- Pro Monthly — £3.99 / month
- Pro Annual — £29.99 / year
Both Pro plans include a 7-day free trial. Any unused portion of a free trial period (where offered) will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
Payment will be charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase (or at the end of the free trial). Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours of the end of the current period at the same price as the current subscription.
You can manage and cancel your subscriptions in your account settings on the App Store after purchase.

What's included in Pro
- Unlimited "Teach me" advanced breakdowns (free tier: first 20 included, then 5 / month)
- Unlimited saved favourites (free tier: 20)
- All phrasebooks — night market, transit, hotel, medical, and more (free tier: 4 phrasebooks)
- Priority support and a say in what we build next
Trial and cancellation
Both Pro plans start with a 7-day free trial. If you cancel during the trial, you won't be charged. To cancel: open System Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions → Boba Talk → Cancel Subscription. You'll keep Pro access until the trial ends.
If you don't cancel, the plan auto-renews at £3.99/month or £29.99/year respectively, charged to your Apple ID.
Refunds
Refunds are handled by Apple, not by us. You can request one via Apple's refund process.
